Description

To enhance the customer experience, to increase sales and profits and to champion Holt Renfrew as the employer of choice; the Bartender fills beverage orders and maintains the bar to department standards.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

1. Prepare mixed drinks, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages as requested by food and beverage servers
2. Present all completed orders as per Holt Renfrew standards
3. Provide recommendations for beverages based on guest preferences and food pairings
4. Stock beverages and complete periodic inventories to ensure sufficient supply
5. Orders additional stocks as required and approved
6. Follow all Health and Safety guidelines
7. Maintain bar in compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations (Smart Serve)

The ideal candidate:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 3 years previous bartending experience
3. Smart Service designation
